Bodegas Amaren

In 1995, Juan Luis Cañas pays tribute to his mother, the winemaker Ángeles Herrera, co-founder with her husband of Bodegas Luis Cañas.

This tribute is done in the form of a new winery project, and it is called “AMAREN”, which means “of the mother” in Basque.

Ubicada en Samaniego, y liderada por Jon Cañas, nieto de Ángeles, Bodegas Amaren es conocida por sus vinos de producción limitada y su fuerte compromiso con el territorio y con la conservación del medioambiente.
